What I would like from you, young woman, is an email when you come up
for tenure. If you want a letter of support, if you want a word with
the Board of Ed, you have it from me.
My son has been blessed with wonderful passionate teachers. He loves
to read, but I am firmly convinced that Emily Hawe taught him how to
read critically. You are doing the same with his ability to write. I
was googling around while he was writing his defense of his persuasive
piece and I am so impressed with your breakdown.
You're teaching him how to write. I am so grateful to you.
And you've made it fun for him! I find him searching for answers,
struggling to explain, trying to make it right. Srsly Julius Caesar?
It's so cool to watch the process in his head. A thousand thanks to
you.
